On October 21, 2019 we celebrated 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On the state language”.
In this regard, on October 4, 2019, there adopted the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On the wide celebration of 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On the State Language”.
There approved the Program of mass spiritual and educational events conducted in connection with 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On the State Language” by the President considering accelerated influence of Uzbek language in strengthening the spiritual foundations of the independence of the motherland, upbringing the people, especially young generation in the spirit of love and devotion to national values.
So, there held ceremonial events devoted to 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On the State Language” in Tashkent Branch of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics.
Opening the solemn part of the event Rector of Tashkent Branch of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdurakhmanov K.Kh. noted that over the years our mother tongue has gained a solid legal base and high status. Today, the Uzbek language is actively used in all spheres of our lives and sounds loudly from state and public administration, interstate relations, science, education and upbringing, medicine, culture, art and international stands as well.
Speaking to the participants of the event, Chief editor of the Shark Yulduzi magazine Sirojiddin Rauf emphasized that the Uzbek language as one of the oldest and richest languages in the world is a symbol of national identity and independent statehood of our people, its invaluable spiritual wealth and great value, which are extremely important in public and political, spiritual and educational development of the country.
High values, human qualities, the way of thinking inherent in each nation are reflected in the language as well. Therefore, the exaltation of native language, ensuring its constant dynamics of development is the guarantor of the progress of the nation. From this point of view there paid constant attention to the issue of protecting the native language, comprehensive support for its improvement in Uzbekistan” noted Ma’mura Zokhidova, Head of the Department of the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan.
At the same time there organized a concert program and theatricalized performance “Five Brothers” for guests and participants of the solemn event by student youth of Tashkent Branch of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics which was in tune with the implementation of Five Initiatives of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the importance of developing human capital.
In honor of 30th anniversary of the adoption of Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan, there organized book exhibition and photo exhibition telling about the close cooperation of Tashkent Branch of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics with the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan by Information and Resource Center of the Branch.
