New campus of Tashkent Branch of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics was visited by pupils of 10th grade of secondary school No. 265.
As part of the event, pupils were told about the history of the development of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, how educational programs and areas of study developed. In the museum of Tashkent branch, students were interested in learning about the history of development of Tashkent branch.
After getting acquainted with exhibits in the lobby and classrooms, meeting and conversation took place with the Head of Tashkent branch, Academician of Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdurakhmanov K.Kh. in the new lab of Digital Economy.
Academician Abdurakhmanov K.Kh., as a participant in the solemn meeting dedicated to the start of the work of Oliy Majlis of new convocation, spoke about the Message of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and main tasks in the field of science and education in 2020, in particular, increase in the coverage of children with preschool education, construction of new comprehensive schools, introduction of advanced teaching methods.
Meeting with young people and popularizing of reading books among students occupies a special place in the Road Map of Academician of Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdurakhmanov K.Kh., Rector of Tashkent Branch of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics. In conversation K.Kh. Abdurakhmanov told high school students about a great work carried out by the university to implement five initiatives of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. About the history of writing the book about national poet of Uzbekistan, author of the anthem words, Hero of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov. The outstanding poet of our time A. Aripov was very progressive in the field of translation of works of classics of fiction. In particular, he translated the work of Dante Alighieri “The Divine Comedy” into Uzbek language.
At the end of the event, representatives of the school were awarded copies of published book “Buyuklar Kakhkashonida” by Academician Abdurakhmanov K.Kh. and new textbook “Labor Economics: Theory and Practice”, recently published in Russian to supplement library fund of the institution.
Each student participating in the meeting was presented with pens with the logo of Tashkent Branch of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics.
The main goal of organizing meetings with secondary school students and teaching staff of secondary schools is to improve the educational process, increase the effectiveness of spiritual and educational events, encourage students to feel responsible, read books, develop communication skills in Russian and general intellectual development.
