In the Branch there held an open session of student scientific club ‘Financier’, “History of development of world currencies” dedicated to the 113th anniversary of foundation of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics.
‘Finance and Credit’ Department and ‘Plekhanov Creative Association’ (‘TOP’) Theater Studio organized and conducted a theatrical colloquium on the theme “History of development of world currencies”.
Joint youth project of “Financier” student scientific club and ‘TOP’ theater studio turned out to be interesting and informative.
In theatrical form, students showed the history of the development of world monetary system. What money appeared on the money market first? Currency of which country is the oldest? Why dollars are called “bucks” and what it means to contribute.
New format of the event introduced into the activity of student scientific club ‘Financier’ as a part of large work of implementing five initiatives of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
Debates, round tables, seminars and mini-conferences are held at the Branch on a regular basis, but the format of theatrical colloquium is a completely new form of organizing student events. In preparing events, students use knowledge gained during lectures and seminars, but also use the stage skills acquired during classes at ‘Plekhanov Creative Association’ (‘TOP’) theater studio.
Participating in such youth projects, students successfully implement initiatives aimed at introduction students to the theater, music, art, as well as the development of new computer technologies.
