Every year on June 12, the Russian Federation celebrates a public holiday – the Day of Russia, a holiday of freedom, civil peace and good harmony. On this day, we honor a country with a thousand-year history and a unique heritage. This holiday unites not only Russian, it is celebrated together with Russia by everyone for whom the Russian land is dear and close.
Our countries are bound by long-standing and strong ties of partnership, common aspirations for further development of mutually beneficial cooperation and integration of economies.
Regular contacts between the heads of the two countries make it possible to fill the relations of strategic partnership and alliance with new practical content, covering a growing range of interaction – from politics and economics to science, education, tourism and culture.
We are glad to share this significant holiday with our Russian colleagues. The authority, faculty and students of the Branch wish all our Russian colleagues, friends and Russian people peace and kindness, prosperity and well-being!
Solemn events dedicated to the Day of Russia, held at the Branch, were continued at the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Uzbekistan, where the head of the Tashkent Branch of Plekhanov Russian university of economics Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdurakhmanov K.Kh.
The Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov, the leadership of a number of ministries and departments of the republic, representatives of the Tashkent diplomatic corps, compatriots and the media attended the event.
