May 9 – Day of Memory and Honor – a national holiday. Remembering compatriots who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the Motherland, on this day, we feel a sense of pride for them, who gave us a prosperous, peaceful life.
On the eve of the Day of Memory and Honor, students of Tashkent branch of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, together with Council for Spirituality, Education and Work with Youth, trade union committee, with the assistance of students from different courses, activists of the Youth Union, prepared a solemn event “The dignity of a person is great – memory is sacred.”
The solemn concert program was attended by representatives of Branch’s management, veterans and student youth participating in the educational campaign “The feat of heroes lives forever.”
