About the Department

Established on September 1, 2019, the Department of Information Systems and Mathematical Disciplines (ISMD) evolved from the Department of Humanities and Mathematical Disciplines. It operates under regulations approved by the Academic Council of the Tashkent branch of PRUE (Protocol No. 11, June 14, 2013). The department is actively involved in educational, methodological, scientific, and practical activities.

Faculty members

Nodirbek Bahodir ugli Tula

PhD, Head of the Department.

In 2013, he graduated with a Master’s degree in Statistics from Tashkent State University of Economics.

In 2017, he completed an internship under the Erasmus program at Charles University (Prague, Czech Republic).

In 2018, he taught at Aristotle University (Thessaloniki, Greece).

In 2019, he successfully defended his PhD dissertation in Economics (specialty 08.00.06 – Econometrics and Statistics).

In 2023, he completed an internship at UCSI University (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia).

From 2019 to 2024, he worked as an Associate Professor at the Department of Statistics at TSUE (Tashkent State University of Economics), served as a youth leader in the Yakkasaray district of Tashkent, and held the position of Deputy Dean of the Faculty at the Tashkent Branch of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics.

Since 2025, he has been the Head of the Department of Information Systems and Mathematical Disciplines at the Tashkent Branch of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics.

Dr. Akhram Khasanovich Nishanov

Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor

He graduated from the National University of Uzbekistan with a degree in Applied Mathematics and Informatics. In 1996, he defended his doctoral dissertation and was awarded the title of Professor in the same year. He has been working at the Tashkent Branch of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics since 2019, where he served as a professor in the department. He has lectured on subjects such as Information Technologies and Systems in Economics. He has published over 250 monographs, textbooks, teaching aids, and articles in both foreign and domestic journals, as well as in university and institute collections and proceedings in the republic.

Daniyar Dzhakhongirovich Razmukhamedov

— PhD, Associate Professor.

Graduated from Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent in 2015 with a degree in Engineering. Completed his master’s at the State Transport University in 2019. In 2023, underwent training at Rutgers University (USA) in Green Energy. Defended his PhD dissertation in 2024.​

Nilufar Vaitovna Juraeva

PhD in Technical Sciences, Associate Professor.

She graduated from the National University of Uzbekistan with a degree in Applied Mathematics. In 2012, she defended her PhD dissertation.
She has been working at the Tashkent Branch of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics since 2024. She lectures on subjects such as Information Technologies and Systems in Economics, Digital Technologies in Management, and Digitalization of International Trade.
She has published over 70 monographs, textbooks, teaching aids, and articles in both foreign and domestic journals, as well as in university and institute collections and proceedings in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Umida Akbarovna Salikhodjaeva

— PhD, Associate Professor.

She graduated from Tashkent State Economic University with a degree in Statistics. In 2022, she defended her doctoral dissertation on the topic: Statistical Research on the Standard of Living of the Population of Uzbekistan.
She has been working at the Tashkent Branch of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics since 2024. She lectures on subjects such as Statistics, Economic Statistics, and International Statistics.
She has published over 25 teaching aids and articles in both foreign and domestic journals and collections.

Akram Abdirashidovich Alimov

— PhD, Associate Professor.

He graduated from the Mirzo Ulughbek National University of Uzbekistan with a degree in Applied Mathematics and Informatics.
He teaches mathematical disciplines such as Mathematical Analysis, Linear Algebra, and Probability Theory. He is currently continuing his studies at the National University of Uzbekistan.
He has published over 12 articles in both foreign and domestic journals, collections, and the proceedings of universities and institutes in the republic.

Dmitry Ignatievich Kim

— Senior Lecturer.

In 2020, he graduated from the Nizami Tashkent State Pedagogical University with a degree in Methods of Teaching Mathematics.
In 2022, he completed his Master’s degree at Mirzo Ulughbek National University of Uzbekistan, specializing in Mathematics.
Since September 2022, he has been working at the Tashkent Branch of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics.
Currently, he is conducting research in the field of Operator Algebra Theory while pursuing a PhD at Mirzo Ulughbek National University of Uzbekistan. Additionally, he is engaged in scientific activities in Applied Mathematics.
He teaches courses such as Fundamentals of Information Security and Software Tools for Business Analytics.

Nelya Rustamovna Engalycheva

— Senior Lecturer.

In 2010, she enrolled at the National University of Uzbekistan. She graduated with a Master’s degree in Mathematics from the National University of Uzbekistan in 2016.
She worked as a lecturer at the Mirabad College of Computer Technologies. Since September 2016, she has been working at the Tashkent Branch of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics.
Currently, she is conducting research in the field of Additive Differentiation in Matrix Algebras over Rings of Measurable Functions.
She lectures on courses such as Financial Calculations and Modeling of Financial Activities.

Gleb Vadimovich Samsonov

— Lecturer.

In 2009, he enrolled at the Tashkent Branch of Moscow State University (MSU). After graduation, from 2013 to 2017, he worked at the Academic Lyceum at TUIT.
In 2021, he completed his Master’s degree at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) in the field of Applied Mathematics and Informatics.
He has been working at the Tashkent Branch of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics since 2023.
He teaches courses such as Linear Algebra, Operations Research, Economic Statistics, Econometrics, Models and Methods of Optimization, Fundamentals of Information Security, and more.
He is conducting research in the field of Applied Mathematics.

In 2018, she graduated from the National University of Uzbekistan.
In 2020, she completed her Master’s degree at the National University of Uzbekistan, specializing in Mathematics.
Since September 2024, she has been working at the Tashkent Branch of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics.
She teaches courses such as Mathematical Analysis, Linear Algebra, Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics, Macroeconomic Modeling, and Modeling of Company Financial Activities.

Milena Timurovna Sharipova

— Educational and Methodological Work Specialist.

The main functions performed at the department include technical and organizational support of the department’s educational process, coordination of the educational process and the educational-methodological work of the department’s academic staff, as well as the organization and management of the department’s documentation.

Collaboration

The department maintains active partnerships and collaborations with a number of economic universities both in Uzbekistan and abroad. Faculty members have repeatedly undertaken work visits to universities in the USA, the Netherlands, France, the United Kingdom, Japan, South Korea, Sweden, China, Italy, and Germany. These visits aim to exchange pedagogical experience and to study the organization of the educational process at foreign institutions.

Faculty of the department conduct teaching in courses such as Higher Mathematics, Financial Mathematics, and Financial Investments.

Research Activities

The priority scientific directions of the department include the study of fundamental and applied problems in mathematical education for economists, the regularities of economic process development, the functioning of financial systems and associated risks, as well as research in the format of each scholar’s scientific interests and personal initiatives.

The relevance of the department’s scientific activities is reflected in the titles and content of the grants submitted and supported by the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Erasmus+, TWAS, and others:

  • The application of econometric and statistical methods in economic research, particularly in entrepreneurship and the insurance market;
  • The study of the convergence rate of functional bounded random variables and its application to service mass problems;
  • The study of differential equations in various classes, spectral theory of operators, and its applications;
  • The creation of an information system and the development of typical technologies for dynamic modeling and forecasting economic development and labor resource needs.

The results of scientific activities are presented and discussed at international and national scientific conferences, symposiums, and seminars: “Innovations in Education,” “International Mathematical Conference,” “Proceeding of The Modeling of Nonlinear Processes and Systems,” “Modern Economy: Concepts and Models of Innovative Development,” “Seminars in the Department of Mathematical Sciences, Politecnico di Torino, Italy,” and “Contemporary Problems of Mathematical Physics.”

Student Scientific Club “Mathematician-Programmer”

The Student Scientific Club “Mathematician-Programmer” was established in the Tashkent Branch of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics in the year 2000. From its inception, the club has actively involved leading faculty members in its activities, including:

📅 May 21, 2024 – Master Class Announcement

As part of the Development Program of the Tashkent Branch of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics for 2024/2025, and with the aim of strengthening the university’s image, the Department of Information Systems and Mathematical Disciplines will organize the university stage of the Republican Student Mathematics Olympiad among higher education institutions in February 2025.

To support students wishing to participate in this competition, a master class will be held in February 2025 to prepare for the university stage. Following the master class, a preliminary qualifying round will take place. Winners of this round will receive diplomas and souvenirs, and will be eligible to represent the university at the Republican stage of the Mathematics Olympiad in June 2025.
