Students at TASHKENT BOOK FEST – 2019

Representatives of management and students of Tashkent Branch of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics visited First Tashkent International Book Fair – a large cultural and educational event aimed at promoting books and reading, supporting and developing the literary heritage of participating countries, building a reader’s culture, studying experience of the world printing industry and the establishment of international relations between publishers and book distributors, information and library institutions and organizations dealing with issues and promoting books and reading.

First International Book Fair Tashkent Book Fest – 2019 organized on the initiative of the Information and Mass Communications Agency under the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan in cooperation with a number of organizations on October 2-4 became a major project uniting representatives of the spheres of education and upbringing, publishing, literature, youth, parents around one goal.

During the visit to the exhibition the students of Tashkent Branch of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics look through special stands on publishing, promoting reading books, literary heritage, organizing exhibitions that arouse interest in reading, presentations, meetings, and master classes.

The large-scale work in the spiritual and educational sphere, conducted in recent years under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev heightens interest of young people in reading and creates a sense of patriotism in them.

In our country there paid a special attention to the reform of publishing, printing and information library spheres in accordance with the Strategy of Actions,. Meanwhile, the priority direction of the Strategy of Action of five priority areas of Uzbekistan development is the improvement of spiritual, educational spheres and state youth policy.

First International Book Fair Tashkent Book Fest– 2019 is a real celebration of reading, culture and enlightenment, knowledge, literature in students and curators’ judgment who visited it. Within the framework of the exhibition-fair there performed presentations of new books, popular literature, competitions, quizzes, meetings with writers and poets, master classes in calligraphy, and art.
