Plekhanov Russian University of Economics (PRUE) improved its position in the ranking of universities implementing programs in State and Municipal Administration (SMA).
“National Rating of Universities” research group of “Interfax” international information agency presented at Gaidar Forum, which is taking place these days in Moscow, results of third rating of universities implementing programs in State and Municipal Administration (SMA). Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, ranked the 4th place among Russian universities, ahead of Moscow State University after M.V. Lomonosov and Financial University. The rating highly appreciated the quality of training under the programs of in State and Municipal Administration, which are implemented at Plekhanov Russian University of Economics at the Faculty of Economics and Law and Faculty of Business “Captains”. The ranking criteria are the number of training profiles implemented, availability of professional public and international accreditation, proportion of graduates with red diploma, as well as publication activity and citation of teachers in the direction of “State and Law” and Public Administration topics.
This year, the ranking also considered information technology and innovative solutions that universities were able to offer in a difficult time of pandemic, when the bulk of educational process went online. The rating highly appreciated platforms for e-learning (LMS) and digital competencies of PRUE employees. Also, PRUE online courses were noted, which can be used by students of our university and other universities studying under the programs of State and Municipal Administration. “This year we mark the significant progress of PRUE” said the head of the “National Rating of Universities” research group of “Interfax” international information agency Chaplygin A.G. He noted that in future, rating methodology will take into account the use of digital intelligent systems in training, labor market monitoring data, level of training in digital management technologies, and formation of expert system in the direction of SMA.
